CPSC, Haro Bicycle Corp. Announce Recall of Bicycles

Official recall recorded by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission.

The hazard

The length of the crank arm in the 2003 model fails to allow sufficient space between the rider's foot and the front wheel, when the front wheel is turned backwards. The rider's foot could come in contact with the front wheel, causing the rider to lose control, fall and possibly suffer serious injury.

What to do

Consumers should stop using the recalled bicycles immediately and contact Haro to learn where to take their bicycles to have the crankset replaced free of charge.
