CPSC, Snapper, Inc. Announce Recall of Riding Lawn Mowers

Official recall recorded by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission.

The hazard

The side discharge chute is defective. The material used to manufacture the side discharge chute is not strong enough to prevent projectiles from flying out from under the mower deck, exposing consumers and by-standers to possible injuries from flying debris.

What to do

Consumers should stop using their lawn mowers until the discharge chute has been replaced. Contact a Snapper dealer immediately for a free replacement.
