Violation of Federal Flammability Standard Prompts Christy Recall of Women’s Robes Sold Exclusively at Bloomingdales

Official recall recorded by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission.

The hazard

The bathrobes fail to meet the federal flammability standard for clothing textiles and pose a risk of burn injury.

What to do

Consumers should stop using the recalled bathrobes immediately and return them to the Domestics Department in any Bloomingdale's store for a full refund. If the Bloomingdale's store does not have a Domestics Department, the robe should be returned to the Customer Service Department.
