CPSC, SCUBAPRO Announce Recall of Converter Kit

Official recall recorded by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission.

The hazard

An insufficient bond may cause a break in the converter coupling, which could impact the diver's ability to control buoyancy.

What to do

Consumers who dive with an Air 2 Alternate Inflation Regulator on a NON-SCUBAPRO buoyancy compensator should immediately stop use and contact SCUBAPRO. They will be instructed to take their buoyancy compensator with the Air 2 intact to their authorized SCUBAPRO dealers for a free replacement.
