CPSC, Target Announce Recall of Tea Light Candles
Official recall recorded by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission.
The hazard
The recalled candles can burn with a high flame and melt the plastic holders. This poses a fire hazard and a burn hazard to consumers.
What to do
Consumers should stop using the tea light candles immediately and return them to the nearest Target store for a Target GiftCard worth the value of the returned candle plus applicable state tax.
