Sleeping Partners Recalls Moses Basket and Stand Due to Fall Hazard

Official recall recorded by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission.

The hazard

The Moses basket fails to meet the federal hand-held infant carrier standard and the stand fails to meet the bassinet/cradle standard. The basket can slide off an inclined surface and the stand can tip, posing a fall hazard for infants.

What to do

Consumers should immediately stop using the Moses baskets as a hand-held infant carrier. Consumers who purchased both items should immediately stop using the recalled stand and contact the firm for instructions on returning the basket and stand to receive a store credit.
