Playworld Recalls Stainless Steel Playground Slides Due to Amputation Hazard (Recall Alert)

Official recall recorded by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission.

The hazard

The weld between the slide bedway and sidewall can crack and separate. A child's fingers can get caught in the space, posing an amputation hazard.

What to do

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled slides and contact Playworld for a free replacement slide and free installation. A temporary barrier will be shipped to consumers prior to shipment of a replacement slide to prevent children from using the slide. Playworld is contacting consumers who purchased the slides directly.
